What are AI credits and how are they counted?
Each AI action — a prompt, a search, a transcript — uses a credit. Free plan gets 10 per month, Pro gets 100, Team gets 200. Monthly credits reset each billing cycle, and unused ones roll over as long as your subscription stays active. If you connect your own API key via BYOA, you bypass credits entirely and pay your provider directly.
Can I use my own OpenAI or Anthropic key?
Yes — BYOA (Bring Your Own AI) lets you connect any supported provider. Every AI feature in Zunoy Notes then runs on your key, your model, and your data agreement. No credits consumed.
Is my data used to train the AI?
No. Your notes are never used to train any AI model. What's in your workspace stays in your workspace — used only to answer your queries, never shared or fed into external training data.
4. What's the difference between Ask AI and the AI Editor?
Ask AI is conversational — you ask questions and get answers from your workspace. The AI Editor is transformational — it rewrites, improves, scores, and optimises the note you're currently working on. Two different jobs, both inside Zunoy.
Can I turn off AI features?
Yes — you can disable any AI feature from your settings. If you prefer a clean, distraction-free writing experience with no AI suggestions or panels, that's completely supported.
